In April 2025 we completed this mural at Fenway High with a group of students for project week.
Youth Speaks Mural
This was our first collaborative teaching mural project done with students from BSAC during the summer of 2024. Franco and Jake served as artists, facilitators, educators and consultants responsible for working with the students to come up with and execute a concept for the mural that would meet the needs of the site andincorporate the ideas of the entire group, reflecting the voice of the BSAC youth. The student and staff team from BSAC was Alex, Andrena, Angel, Carlos, Deema, Dennisse, Jaleel, Jaylen, Jeyden, Joshua, Julian, Kayla, Kevin, Layla, Saeed, Seven, Taleah, Taylin, Tori, Nakiah, Nachelis, Payton and Saoudato. You can find the mural at the corner of Roxbury St. and Washington St. in Nubian Square.
